"I got this as a gift for my special lady, so this review is more from a guy's point of view. First of all, the construction is really nice on it. Most of the vibrators I've seen look like cheap toys or weed pipes. The Magic Wand looks more like a tool or appliance. It's got a metal ring at the stop, and the rocker switch feels solid. The whole wand's got a decent heft to it, you could probably use it as a weapon in a pinch. It's straight business with this thing, and it really does bring it. It has two settings: high and highest.

Aside from its amazing ability to do its job so quickly and reliably, it's got other benefits too. Since it's held from the top down, you have a lot more access than you would with a vibrator held from the bottom. This means you and your special gal can go to pound town while she's using it. I got a decent reaction from the attachments, but the real star of the show was the Magic Wand by itself. Another plus for dudes, it's not really dong shaped or anything so you don't have to feel jealous of it.

Two downsides, but really who cares:

1. The cord's only 6 feet long. That might seem like plenty, but when you're flipping around all over the place it really helps to have more slack. Even if you're close to the outlet, you do feel a little tethered.

2. It gets pretty warm after about 20-30 minutes. That'll rarely happen though. So far, the only time that's happened is when we were exchanging back rubs with it. That's another plus for it: it's multi-purpose. So that actually cancels out this downside really.

Anyway, if you love your chick and like to see her happy, you should buy this for her without a doubt."

Well, I decided I needed to start exploring some new options as I felt there could be something I was missing out on. I read all of the 500+ positive reviews and was beyond excited. WHOA- that is CRAZY and you don't see those kinds of reviews on any other vibrator. I immediately ordered the Hitachi, with the two attachments (for extra fun!) and eagerly awaited its arrival in the mail.

It came very quickly (thanks Amazon) and I rushed inside to immediately test it out.

A few things- It is giant, which I knew from reading the description and reviews, but I didn't realize how difficult it would be to maneuver it around, my umm parts. For clitoral stimulation, it just sort of thunders over you- like one big vibrating ball. It's too big to hit the specific parts you might need to- it's really just an overall vibration. It also is a hard material that can feel really rough on your clit, which is unpleasant. I found the low setting to be too slow, and the high setting to be too intense.

Next, I tried using the g-spot attachment. How someone could think it was a good idea to use rough, non bendable, hard plastic is beyond me. It is so rigid you can't get it in the right way (or at least I couldn't). It's honestly uncomfortable.

Now, don't get me wrong- this IS still a great item and definitely gives strong vibes- but is it worth the money? In my opinion, no. FYI: the hitachi does work great as a massager for your body, but with the short cord length, bulk and shape it would be best used with a partner (they massage you, you massage them) not so easy to get your back with this on your own :(
